Product Overview
358 mesh fence is a highly attractive yet seriously secure fencing solution, popular across a wide range of applications due to its excellent strength, easy erection, and intrusion-resistant anti-climb properties. The panels are welded with high-quality carbon steel wires, making it virtually impossible to climb or break through, proven in prison environments.
The name “358” is derived from its measurements, with mesh openings of approximately 76.2mm × 12.7mm × 4mm (3″ × 0.5″ × 8 gauge wire diameter). This high-security fencing is renowned worldwide as an anti-climb and anti-cut through barrier while maintaining a low visual impact on the surroundings. The small mesh aperture effectively prevents unauthorized access and makes it challenging to breach with conventional hand tools.

Fence Panel Specification
Different from other welded wire mesh panels, the size of 358 mesh fencing panels is usually fixed. The 3″ × 5″ mesh design gives the safety protection function of anti-cutting and anti-climbing. In addition to 358 mesh, there are 356, 3510 mesh, they just have different wire diameters. Several panels can be installed on top of each other. Thus may be achieved a total height of 5200 mm.

Fence Panel Colors
The most widely preferred color for our fencing is Green RAL6029, as it seamlessly blends into the background, making it an easy choice for many clients. Alternatively, clients in areas with a significant presence of black materials, such as railings or window frames, often opt for Black RAL9005. For schools or businesses looking to match their branding or school colors, Blue RAL5005 and Red RAL2002 are popular choices. Lastly, a few clients opt for White RAL9003 to achieve a distinct and clean aesthetic for their fencing.
2D Secutiry Fencing
Our reinforced fence with 6mm vertical wires and additional 4mm wires spaced at 152.4mm intervals exemplifies unparalleled strength. The unique double horizontal wires at 152.4mm centers make it exceptionally rigid and surpass common 358 mesh fences in security. 3D Security Fencing
Our 3D security fence shares similarities with the 358 mesh fence, utilizing 4.0mm wire in a 12.7 × 76.2mm mesh pattern. Like other fence products, some additional safety measures are usually added to the top of the 358 welded mesh for higher security.
Application
358 welded wire fence extra high security fence is an impenetrable barrier, designed to thwart climbing and cutting attempts. It’s ideal for various applications, from electronic alarm systems to prisons, military sites, airports, and commercial properties. Suitable for warehouses, power plants, seaports, hospitals, schools, parks, and more, it ensures lasting security with an attractive appearance. For different needs, 3.60m height is common in schools and parks, while 5.20m height is widely used in prisons and military areas.
Packaging & Shipping
When packing 358 mesh fence panels, we alternate them on pallets for efficient loading. Corner covers protect edges, steel belts secure pallets, and a final plastic layer adds protection. Heavy panels must not exceed a 2.5-ton weight limit. Larger panels fit vertically in containers. Rain caps and fasteners are packed securely, ensuring safe transport.
The standard packing procedure for 358 mesh fence panels typically involves palletizing them. To maximize loading capacity, panels are arranged with one facing up and the next facing down, except when the panels have folds, in which case all panels are loaded face up. Corner covers are employed to protect the panel edges. Steel belts are then used to secure the pallets tightly, followed by an outer layer of plastic film for added protection.
It’s important to note that due to the weight of 358 mesh fence panels, pallets should not exceed a weight limit of 2.5 tons. Some destination sites may have forklifts incapable of handling pallets exceeding this weight threshold. Bulk loading is not recommended unless the 358 mesh fence has undergone hot-dipped galvanization.In cases where the panel size exceeds pallet capacity, panels can be stood up on one side of the container.
Additionally, other 358 mesh fence fittings such as rain caps and bolts and nuts are packaged in a carton box. This comprehensive approach ensures the safe and efficient transport of these materials.

3. Wood plate at the top of the pallet.
