Gabions have a rich history dating back to ancient Egypt when they were used to protect riverbanks along the Nile. Over the past 7,000 years, the concept of gabions has evolved from woven reed baskets to meticulously crafted wire mesh containers. What makes gabions enduring is their adaptability, which has stood the test of time.
Welded gabion mesh is made of high quality low carbon steel wire, in strict accordance with BS1052:1986 standard through automation, precision and accurate processing machinery and equipment welding row after forming, then it use electro-galvanized, hot dip galvanized, coated, dip or Galfan and other processes where the surface passivation, plastics processing.

Application
Welded gabion mesh are used in many situations, including the stabilisation of earth movement and erosion, river control, reservoirs, canal refurbishment, landscaping and retaining walls.
